Siracusa Cathedral is a gorgeous mix of different architectural styles. Located in the high side of Ortigia, it was built on the old ruins of Athena Doric temple. It then became a Christian basilica and its façade, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693 was created in Baroque style.
